Could the Dash out of a SF Forester (non airbag model) fit into an L series?

I know Devil dave put most of an impreza dash into a brumby ute so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to do it to an "L" series as there is more room in one.

Sadly all the pictures of Dave's interior have disappeared from his brumby thread.
