Forester GT Beach use
Forester GT Beach use
Is there any way of making the 1999 forester GT better for the beach, ie lifting or tyres or any thing. Your points of view welcomed.
Thanks

how much money do you want to spend?
2" lift
215/65 (wont rub) or 215/70 tyres (might rub on full lock)
center diff lock switch if its an auto
That said it will tackle just about all beach driving stock. Give it a try

Centre diff lock is a simple bit of wiring as far as I know, Subarino did this to his auto GT and I believe he found the info by searching on one of the Forester forums and it was pretty easy to find.
Agreed, beach driving should be easy enough for it in stock form really.
Probably the best modification you can make to start with is practice and experience for the driver

Yeah Wazza.. you'll either need to fit a DCCD to your manual or swap to an Automatic gearboxwazza945 wrote:anyone know how to set up this centre diff lock?

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.
