FWD to AWD

is it possible (and preferably easy and relatively hassel free) to convert a 94 FWD man lib to awd? if so how would you go about doing it? keeping in mind i would probly jsut be taking it to a mechanics and getting them to fit it all

Very possible and pretty much hassel free I'd say. Best bet is to take all the AWD gear from a donor car. You need the rear diff, axels, hubs, basically the rear sub frame. Also the tailshaft and gearbox.
Have a look under an AWD model and compare the differences. Everything should just bolt in.

Unless you really have to have the FWD car you have now or you cannot get a complete damaged donor car for under $1000 then sell the one you have and buy an AWD one. You have to swap the box, tailshaft, fuel tank and rear axle assembly. All the holes you need are there but you have to swap the lot. If you are not going to lift it you will also have to swap the rear struts to the AWD ones as well.
