how do u take your old shocks and springs out of your car then replace them with new ones?
is it hard?

And a spring compressor helps too. they are cheap to buy or a i have a set if you would like to borrow them

it is not hard if you are mechanically minded it is easy to fiqure out. the compressers just save a lot of hassle when putting it back togeather

front struts cant be put back together without the spring compressors

....already tried that one

U actually can do it without spring compressors but i would seriously recomend buying some. I belive Mattims did it with using the weight of the car to re-compress the spring... pretty dangerous though.
I belive every subaru owner that is going to want to do there own mods and repairs should have a gregories manual to suit there car.
And which Dave are u calling grumpy... there is about a million Daves on this site.
Spring compressors would be the only specialty tool u would need for this job.

one of the parts shops had spring compressors on special for 30 bucks in a catalogue the other day
