dont do it, just do the ej conversion. i fitted an ea82t to my brumby, requires a little clearancing on the chasis rails, but not much. ive spent more money than i care to mention on mine and its still a slug. well, it goes ok but it aint fast. i ended up with a microtech computer, larger injectors, liberty water to air intercooler, wrx td04 and a 3in exhaust, all done myself (im a mechanic). and i still dream about a full time 4wd ej20g conversion.

awww... don't say that. I am just counting on a bit more shove than my fire breathing EA81 quadthrottle when i get my poo together.

and every time i see rails need work i am gonna say i have seen in the flesh an EA82T sitting in a Brumby and about all i looked at was the 6mm between rocker cover and untouched rails on both sides - unless i discover otherwise...soon.

i agree - doesnt require chassis rail mods IF the car isnt lifted

ah, thanks Vincent vega , looks to be the difference is whether lifted or not. good , not lifting mine.
