2002-2004 STi "diff back" muffler pics ?
Does anyone have pics of 2002 - 2004 WRX STi diff back or third section of the exhaust from the last joint to the tip in cap on forwards english ?
I need one of these for a L series RX Turbo and tried to post in the classified section - but no matter what I do it says I don't have permission to do so .
I have no time for template BS so if anyone has pics or one for sale please let me know .
Cheers A .

mmm i can get you some pics of the last section of Exhaust from a WRX not sure on year but im thinking it was around 05 or 06 (currently not in a car)
if it helps it is almost identical to Early Libertys with a couple of different degree bends from memory trying to line it up in BrennyV's Liberty.
its also a huge muffler

I'm told the ones to use are the early mid 90's STi rear muffler section .
It sounds like the middle section of the exhaust is the same on WRX's and STi's and that the rear muffler being ~ 2.25" on STi's is the only difference .
I still need to find out if the down/cat pipe is the same , I'm tempted to use an EJ turbo downpipe but I'm not sure if it's possible to check the condition of the Cat and new would be exy I'd think .

STi rear muffler/pipe section in the bag and now to look for the std common WRX middle pipe to see what Subaru did with mid placed mufflers .
Also I need the mid pipe side of the swivel joint along with the bolts springs etc .
Once I have those we'll need to fabricate a down pipe using a spare EA82T dump flange and either a WRX or RS Lib swivel mount .
I do have a 3" Cat lying around and fingers crossed it will fit where the std one is ATM .
With a factory style 2.25" exhaust Ellie should be able to breathe a bit easier than she can through the butchered EA82T down pipe and pea shooter exhaust . I'm hoping it will be very quiet compared to some turbo'd Roos ...
The STi tip looks at least a hundred miles a hour faster than the current surface rusted 2" tube , all helps cheers A .
