Post by wrx_nut » Sat Jun 17, 2006 8:11 pm

I am fitting a second hand 2 1/2 inch exhaust on my ea82t....

i have the new gasket to go onto the back of turbo and downpipe but i am wondering if it is a good idea to put some gasket/exhaust sealant on aswell???

Certainly not a bad idea. I usually smear a bit of Copper Maxx or similar over the gaskets before installing them.

You might have trouble fitting it with your lift kit.

Put it under the car just as the dump pipe levels out heading backwards, mine is there on my RX and is there on my liberty
