Dual mufflers on L series wagon?

Post by openflame06 » Sun May 24, 2009 9:33 pm

Just for fun, i'd do it.

Anyone heard of anyone else doing it at all? Or have any ideas of how? My current muffler has a hole in it, so i figure if it has to come off something better/stranger should replace it.

Could be done I suppose but theres a small problem of nowhere to put the second muffler. If you look at your car where the muffler is theres quite a large space surrounded by heat shields for it to mount. Also theres the cutout in the rear panel and bumper for the pipe to go. You could put a second muffler, a zorst shop would just put some kind of Y pipe splitter at the back and run extra pipe over to the other side but yeah, I think the main problem is finding a mounting spot for it.
I guess you could put two very small canon mufflers right next to each other where the original one was.

Either way entirely pointless except for abit of fun wank :P

Why not poke it out the side and make an exhaust stack like a truck?! Shits and giggle use only ;)
