2" Exhaust Swap... Should I get new gaskets and hardware?

Hi

Quick question if I should invest in new gaskets and/or hardware.
The 2" exhaust I pulled off a touring wagon wasn't leaking at the time.
Hardware? I ended up cutting the bolts to get the back half off using an angle grinder.
I may or may not be able to use the hardware I have off my 1.5" exhaust
that is currently on my L Series.

Thoughts?
Thanks

Use high temp silicone for the gaskets on the heads, works a treat.

Get a new flexi joint if you're worried about the one that's there. They're usually easily reusable.

Bolts, have some spare. Murphy's law will have it that if you don't have a new set you'll have to grind the bolts off that you wish to use. If you do have a second set you will reuse the old ones!

Don't stress over the small stuff! You can use a new set of gaskets as well as the silicone if you want. I've found the silicone to be great when applied properly - clean the surface and apply a thin continuous bead, bolt it all up, wait 12 hours minimum and off you go from there. If you're in a rush start the engine and let it idle for a couple of minutes then shut it off - the head generated will cure the silicone ;)

Cheers
