EA82T exhaust install

I am fitting a second hand 2 1/2 inch exhaust on my ea82t....

i have the new gasket to go onto the back of turbo and downpipe but i am wondering if it is a good idea to put some gasket/exhaust sealant on aswell???

yes it is just put a bit of clear silastic on it.

Certainly not a bad idea. I usually smear a bit of Copper Maxx or similar over the gaskets before installing them.

You might have trouble fitting it with your lift kit.

just needs to be bend down a little

where is the best place to put a flex pipe? is it worth it?

next to the tailshaft centre bearing......

i heard if you are doing a bit of offroading it is a good idea to put one of those flexi joins on......

Put it under the car just as the dump pipe levels out heading backwards, mine is there on my RX and is there on my liberty

probably too late...but aren't you supposed to use O2 sensor safe sealants ?

You should infront of the sensor but after it wont be an issue
