if your trying to do it cheap just have the EJ22 headers welded up to your current system. whats in there now?

There must be a few different systems out there.......i have just done this and was amazed that the header of the EJ22 from a 1990 liberty wagon was very similar, only about 50mm longer and slightly (20mm) off to the passengers side pushing it more under the tailshaft.

I have a 93/94 L wagon and the pipe sizes were same, not what i was expecting, I moved the rear section of exhaust back (also have different rear muffler) and was surprised the flexible joints even bolted together (just) the gasket was much chunkier on the EJ22. I still need to do something about the gearbox mounting points they are about 40mm appart.

Possibly later L wagons have some differences, as i also found my engine crossmember engine mounts were already slotted holes and didn't need modification.
