bloody exhaust rattles like crazy, its either one of 3 things or all, 1) guts of the cat comming loose and rattle around 2) exhaust guards/sheilds loose which im going to remove 3) rear muffler comming apart inside

anyone have an idea how much for a new zorst for an ea81. are there brands like redback etc that the exhaust shops use that have exhausts already made?

wanna get this rattle noise fixed cause it getting annoying and wanna get my $5 ebay special stainless muffler fitted to give it a bit of that awesome subie note.... which i'll admit comes a close 2nd to a nice tough V8 note hehe

Mine has that damn rattle also. I have been under the car and hit the cat and next muffler, the Cat sounded ok but the 2nd muffler makes a bit of noise. Just give them a good thump with your hand, you could get someone to rev the car up while you are under the car to hear where is coming from. I also thought it was the exhast guards, but i'm sure it's not that!. Also i noticed that some water was leaking (very slight leak)from the join in the 2nd muffler so i think the cat is working ok.
