the oodnadatta track and a subi...?
haha yeah mate we made it... been flat out lately so no report, but heres a quick one...
left melb and headed to ouyun, stayed night
then to port augusta... long drive... some nice scenery though...
then to coober pede... interesting place hey...
then alice and surrounds
the rock was good, enjoyed the ulgas they were excellent...
kings kanyon is amazing... if you go there be sure to do the rim walk...
then on way home came down oodnadatta track, wasnt to bad at all, but weather was really windy and pretty cold, we stayed at william creek and then headid south to hawker....
the subi came out just about unscathed.... 1 broken rear shock in hawker on way home, but just drove home on bump stop...
vibrations caused dash lights to go out...
one piede of adviose is while on outback tracks, keep air circulation to fresh with aircon on or else your cabin will end up coated in dust... doh
good trip overall, did about 7000 ks
so the subi is now on around 318,000 ks...
and going strong..
ill chuck up some pics soon

i remember one of the times i was at the rock some people that had been after me showed me there pics it was only a few days after we had been it rained the rock was actually grey and the rain looked like mercury pouring down it , i was amazed at it , could not believe it was the same rock ihad visited .
