Our new bed on Wheels

Post by Captain Obvious » Wed Apr 22, 2009 9:36 pm

Well as some of you know i got hitched 2 1/2 weeks ago, well the night before the wedding i was watching ebay and won this camper, have been looking for ages for one and this one popped up, exextly what i wanted and in top condition!!! and it was even at the sunny coast, so we picked it up on the way to brisbane on the sunday after the wedding on the way to our honeymoon!!!

it has a bench/kitchen with sink that clips on the side, heaps of storage under the bed, in the drop down box in the floor at the back also in the box on the front, full sip on anex with full sides and has a water tank under. the rego plate says it weighs tare 280kg so with all the gear and the tank full im guessing it will come in around 400-450kg mark, so it nice and light for the suba!!!!!

Awesome.. my dad used to have one about 35 years ago, the canvas just wore down and it leaked after all he decided to throw out the canvas and keep the trailer for normal use... he still uses it today... Yeah it was a good small thing to have just for 2 people but a family isnt ideal... congrats on winning on this item!
Cheers

Nice one... i have a very similar Cub Kamperoo but it lacks the under bed storage. Any chance u can take some photos of how the storage and under bed set up is... im investigating doing this to mine very shortly.

I love how quick and easy this style camper is... set up is in about 2 minutes (well for me it is).

Thats a nice looking camper Bryan, welcome to the camper trailer gang, there is more and more club members getting them now.

Thats the sort of camper I wonted to get but to find one big enough for us was getting pricey, so we had get something a bit bigger and takes a bit longer to put up then yours.

Hope it dose you well.

Rik.
