That is probably why Brumbyrunner owns some and you lot don't. He was obviously prepared to pay what was needed to buy them in the first place. By the way, that is what I thought they would be worth not what BR wants for them. If you have cash and are genuinely interested in them why don't you send him a PM.
$180 per wheel for a twenty something year old 14" rim that won't fit anything other than a L or Vortex - you're dreaming .
That coming from some one that wants to reinvent the L series to make it better? Time for a reality check. Ever wondered why the Mona Lisa is worth so much? It is rare. Now if there was 12000 sets of them run off just last year then the price would come down a bit don't you think?

Yes BR's call but as I said with me its all about functionality , rare doesn't add any value to me in that kind of thing .
Its not a case of me being a cheapskate or running down these wheels , the real issue is what someone in the L/Vortex family is prepared to pay and lets face it most don't drive these cars because they're wealthy .

Sry mate but i sold my rims, they were sunraysia rims. But you should try to go to euro/ peugot wreakers, You could score peugot mags that have the same stud pattern as the L/vortex. I know the peugot 505 came with 15 mags. Here in perth a wreaker wanted $300 for the set with gd tyres, but that was 6 months ago. I saw a guy on here that put them on his green Rx.

Good luck

Ahh yes - supply and demand coupled with the have and have-nots...what is the price of a piece of string really and what are you prepped to pay!

All aside - Fleabay has been turning up some treasures of late - grabbed a set of scorpions off the Trading Post for $450(set of 6!!) and camre with 10 percent rubber so I can still pu them on the L series...

Keep looking and a bargain will turn up...good luck!!

Well, I ended up with said RX from forster, and yes, they sure were 14's, so know I have a set of 6, yay! Just gotta get rid of the gay 27" tyres, tidy the rims up and get some center caps. If anyone is interested, the brand is "ASAHI"
