Possible source for new 14x6 Alloy wheels

Post by coxy » Sun May 09, 2010 8:23 am

I was checking out the performance wheels industrial catalog and they have a listing under the TX1 series wheels that includes HT HQ and Ford as well as the traditional 4WD 6 bolt pattern on the same rim model.
This should mean that that rim centre is capable of being drilled for a Subie 4 x 140 stud pattern so maybe we can twist their arms to offer this stud pattern as an option, the wheels are like a six spoke version of the old globe bathurst style wise and suit older vehicles the offset is available in the 26p used on the Superlites made for Subies as well,so should work the same.
This means they have the required code for the CNC to do the 4 x 140 on these rims.
Hopefully commonsense will tell them this is a market option that the Chinese will not compete in if they are willing to have a go,it is after all simply a minor code change to offer this option.
The standard rims are rated at about 650 KG load and the industrial series rated at approximately twice that and therefore perfect for serious off road use as well.
