27 inch maxxis on a 2" lifted subi L series??

ive got maxis 751's 27x8.5xr14 on my L series and its got a 2 inch lift. I just trimmed the guards right out with an angle grinder and cut parts off the mud guards out that arent needed and it works a treat! I got mine through bob jane in victoria park. The guy ordered them in for me. Some other bob jane stores said they cant get them in.... but this dude said he could.

I'm gonna give old rally tyres a bash when I get back, 205/65/15 which are virtually identical in height to my 205/60/16 road tyres @ 26" so I only need the one spare, useless in the sand but apparently pretty good everywhere else and can be picked up pretty cheap 2nd hand from the bigger rally teams, but I guess 15's are a problem though there must be plenty of 14's around too.
