If you have an angle grinder or oxy torch, you can make some adjustments to fit any sized tyre you like. ;)

yeah 195/70/14's would be about as big as i would go. If you hit bumps offroad i would say they would scrubs .. possibly at full lock in reverse too. But they should be ok most of the time.

I had a set of 195/70R14 on Desert Rats on my L once. They were a tight fit but I dont recall they ever scrubbed.

I have often found that two tyres stating the same size are different from each other in heights, therefore rolling diameter. yeah , go figure that one out !! So if you decide on a tyre size based on someones experience in here, get 'em to state brand and model of tyre so you can match up properly.

I have 185/75/14s on my unlifted subaru. They are the bob jane positraction road biased tyre. They have lifted the car a total height of. 48mm( measured before and after fitting with a tape measure)They do scrubb sometimes on bad offroad situations. My calculations usingthis type of tyre would suggest that 195/70s would scrub evem more being 10mm wider and only 2mm difference in rolling diamater I am looking at 185/70/14s next time round

Yep the 195 Positractions is what I had before the 27"s and the lift, and scrub in turns and big hits. That was on the MY. 185 size tyres on my L dont scrub (not lifted yet).
