5 stud On My L and exhust

Post by Bunyip » Wed Dec 20, 2006 12:51 pm

Hey

can someone help me out here?

I would like to change my 4 stud hubs to a 5 stud to suit forister rims and what size exhust would produce a nice note i want to do all this on a budget (Cheap).

I have heard that you need to get a wrx hub then custom cv. Thats takin it to extrems. I worked the cvs out to be $500 to a Gee for each corner.

Is there an ezyer and cheaper way to modify the hubs with out wasting time and money.

Hey Bunyip, just reading between the lines, are you trying to get 15" rims on your car or do you really want to go 5 stud for brakes etc also?
If its rims then the 15" Group Buy is worth considering for 4 stud, that heaps cheaper.

Wheels good, Brakes bonus

Post by Bunyip » Thu Dec 21, 2006 10:45 am

The reason for me wanting to up grade to 5 stud is.......

I walked into a couple of tyre place and they told me they have that there supplier did not stock anything in the Subaru 4 stud. But if i wanted to get 13" sunrazer that i could get them in white or black....."NO THANKS I already have 13" in white.

I would like to upgrade to 15" wheels there is forester mags that would look good painted white but if its just as ezy to do both wheels and brakes then im up 4 that.

Check out the 15" group by. The ones that are left have chrome bits. sure not as flashy as 5-stud rims, but no conversion hassles.

plus with the centre cap fitting, it makes them look almost stock. i.e. less likely to get pulled over and checked.
