Those are actually wheels, not tyres. The white ones you see on most L series but in 14" rather than the stock 13".

And Sunraysia is only a nick name for the style. Many companies make that style but Speedy is the only one to make them for Subaru and they are named the Desert Rat.
As for tyre, for a 14" rim you'll be hard pressed to find anything smaller then 27x8.5R14 or 185R14 which will both most likely require you to trim the fenders and maybe a little guard bashing to fit without a 2 or 3 inch body lift kit.

I dont think you necessarily HAVE to go for an aggressive offroad tyre (if you were thinking of a big chunky one)
I am running some Light Truck tyres - Yokohama RY 818 185/R14 i think...
They are fine in sand (drop the tyre pressure) and on dirt they are fine....on road they are awesome too....
Maxxis do a nice looker

Thanks mate.
Yeah dont want anything agressive, just something thats still suitable for the tar as well and doesnt look ridiculous.
How much did you pay for yours?

Lots of people have used Nankang Super Trippers in 27x8.5R14, but I'm not real impressed with them - lots of cuts and chips, and they seem to be wearing quickly. Anyway, they seem to be no longer available.
The only proper all-terrain tyre I've found recently is the Maxxis MT753, which seem to be very popular on real 4wds. I was quoted $140 each for them in 185R14.
I'm leaning towards some basic 185R14 light commercial tyres for my next set. Kelly make some with a fairly open chunky tread, which go for about $100 each.
But if you only plan on driving on sand, not rocks or mud, road tyres are fine, and will be cheaper, quieter and handle better.

still typing too slow...

I will be offroad more than on sand though so i guess they will be better.
