hi guys,
After i will install my lift kit, i want to get 16" for my L series. As you all know this is close to impossible.
My question is does anyone know of a place that might do custom mags? Or if the peugoet actually came in that 4std 16".
Or what other suggestions or ideas would you have.
thx

You want to go offroading right?
In which case if you want actual offroad tyres you pretty much have to start with sizes around 30" or 31" and upwards for a 16" rim.
Otherwise you're going to be limited to street tyres only.
15" is a much safer bet, although even then 29" is pretty much the smallest offroad tyre available and these are a very tight fit on a ~3" lifted car, can just squeeze ontoa 4" but still a tight fit - be prepared to cut lots of your guards off.
If you really want 16" rims you could use landcruiser style 6stud rims. There's two methods to fit these, both easy but both not really "legal".
- Drill 2 extra holes in each of the landcruiser rims and then they will just bolt to your existing 4stud hubs. Matatak did this and it worked fine, his wheels didn't fall off afaik.
- Convert your car to 6stud. Pretty easy. There's a guide with photos of what to do hanging around, do a search. Alex did this to his car, you can probably just buy his hubs off him already done if he still has them.
