Rim Conversion

Post by amk » Sun Dec 06, 2009 3:48 am

Hi,

I own a 92 Leone it’s got 15” rims on, I would like to put the 17” rims. The problem is the 15” rims are 4 stud and the 17” 5 stud, can any modification be done without changing the hub and the rear drums?

Thanks,

Regards,

Amk.

I don't know of any safe way of converting from 4 to 5 stud without changing hubs.

Here in Australia we were lucky enough to have an automotive genius design and manufacture a conversion kit that allows the use of late model front hubs, brakes and struts on older 4 stud Subys. You can find plenty of threads on this forum or http://www.crossbredperformance.com

I think this was his main point. Wheel spacers are illegal in australia although not so much in the states and some other countries But if you havent already made some up you can often find them on Ebay!
