before you get your heart set on them, make sure they have them available. Alot of the 14inch sizes are only available in the US.
i havent personally used any of them tyres but i have the bighorns on my patrol and they are bloody awesome. Generally maxxis tyres are great.

I had the 751 on 15" wheels on my Liberty, not a bad tyre, ok off road and on the beach, but be careful on wet roads next to no grip.
I have Falken landair/AT on now and so far I think thay are a better tyre, a little better on sand, a lot better on wet roads, have not had them off road yet but think thay mite be about the same as the Maxxis, and the Falkens are cheeper as well.

Yep checked it out been quoted $110 per tyre
Love my 753's!
How do they perform on road, ie noise and grip (especially in the wet)
I have Falken landair/AT on now..
Look good but no 14"

There is a bit of road noise not annoying tho but you have got to expect that from mud tyres
I haven't driven to much in the rain on road but i have never had any trouble with them.
If you do a lot of off road work you will love them

The noise is constant and not too loud, so no trouble to ignore. No problems with grip, the're not a performance road tyre but the're not dangerous either.

the one good thing I can say about Maxxis 751/AT is I had a good run out of them, I can't tell you how many km I done but I got allmost 3 years out of them.

I've learnt that Bob Jane and the Maxxis Australia maintain independent stocks of Maxxis tyres in Australia. They both bring them directly from the overseas supplier. The Bob Jane stock of Maxxis tyres is complementary to their own stock of tyres, and thus is of a narrower range.

What sort of prices per tyre are we looking at?

Maxxis is about 20% cheaper than the "brand" names.
