spare tyre carrier

wondering on possible ways to mount spare, i have gas tank in the spare wheel well and has to go over the pits hopefully sometime next week and was wondering where possible places to mount the spare are or if anyone has a rear-carrier for a gen1 liberty cheers

I've put heaps of cars over the pits and never had the spare checked once, I don't think it's a requirement, just bad luck if you get a flat.

yeah specially WA pits, i too have passed some cars over the pits here and never had a issue with the spare tyres. Most of my spare tyres were either flat, low on thread or just simply missing:)

But if you just put one in the boot they cant say much.

well first of all make sure you dont go to the joondalup inspection joint. total wankers (sorry if you anyone knows the ppl who work there) but they seriously need to cheer up, life aint that bad!!!

all i had about a month ago when i put mine over was the spare tyre ratchet strapped to rear seats in my L series, low on tread and flat! and was fine.

You should be able to go onto the website of you state road authority and download the roadworthy inspection list.

In Vic you do not have to have a spare tyre, but if you do it must be mounted securely.
