Post by ashleyn » Thu Jun 23, 2011 7:37 pm

I've been offerred a set of KUMHO 834 ROAD VENTURE MT 27x8.5x14 to go on my Brumby (once the lift kit goes in) for around $440. Anyone had experience with these and does it sound like a good deal ?

Brand new so I'm guessing that's a great deal.

If they're anything like these sick puppies:

Image

They're awesome offroad - but howl at speed, starting at 20km/h. Other than the howl I rate them VERY highly. Last weekend I was out in some very slippery conditions, these tyres cleared themselves out very easily and had great traction when I was expecting them to let go.

I got these tyres with the rims so I don't know what they're worth, but that sounds like a top deal you've got there!

Cheers

Ashleyn,

Let us know how you go with these tyres wouldn't mind getting a set if they perform off road.

Cheers Nick

Well I've decided against modifying the body and am going to sell the tyres instead. They are brand new. I'll be listing them on eBay but offerred here first. I am after $135 each to cover my costs, still well below retail.
Pick up from Mt Pleasant.

I'm fairly interested mate, are you selling them on the rims or just the tyres?

That's a good question. I'm taking them in tomorrow to swap over then I can weigh them and also give the cubic dimensions (I think they are the 2 things the transport people need). No hurry at this stage, I won't advertise elsewhere yet.

So here are the vitals.

Each tyre is 685 x 685 (27") x 210 x 13.5Kg. So a stack of 4 will be 685 x 685 x 840 x 54Kg
