Is my Peugeot alloy destroyed??? Pics

Post by Kelossus » Sat May 26, 2012 5:25 pm

I know i am an absolute idiot but i fitted my 15" peugeot alloys with the normal L series wheel nuts.

Tragedy occurred, the wheel fell off. I am absolutely shattered. I spent money getting these rims shipped up to me then powder coated. Went out and bought all new tyres for them only to have myself to blame for rooting them.

I will lose all will to live if I have stuffed all the wheels. Please see the pics attached and give me your opinion. This is the wheel that fell off, I have not taken the others off to inspect damage.

Also are the pug nuts hard to find? Read a couple of threads and some people say they are hard to source but another poster said you can pick them up from any mag shop?

hold tight dude, a wheel rim repair shop may save the day, pics too grim to share ?

I'm in the process of trying to source these pug nuts from a supplier in the UK, getting some good pics, now just need some more detailed drawings so the uninitiated can understand what they consist of, nut shaft and captive washer. Engineering spec drawings appreciated eh Nev :)
