Tyres for lifted Lib

Post by hydrowill » Sat Jul 14, 2012 8:32 pm

Looking for some new offroad tyres for my Lib.

Has a 2'' lift and soon to have O/B struts and king springs (standard height). Tyres will be for offroad and touring only as I have roadies for day to day use.

Have been thinking about the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO 215-75-15s. Any other suggestions? They will be going on Forrester rims.

Will.

Tyres

The BFG's are good, they will last a long time due to hard compound which means they are not the best on wet bitumen but are great off road. I had the 215/70/16 size on a 3 inch lifted lib without issues. I would get them again.

general grabber at2 look like good tyres very popular in the USA, the tread pattern looks very similar to that of the BFG

Legacytt, did you find that they rubbed anywhere? What wheels did you you have them on?

Thanks thunder039 will keep an eye out for them. Have never seen them before.
