Someone measure up for me please...

What is the true diameter of a "14 inch" rim for our subies? Just noticed the wheels and tyres on the scrap touring wagon sit higher than bog standard steel ones so out with the measuring tape and hey what do you know, 14" exactly. Before I got excited I went and measured the stock steelies; slightly under 14". Measured the wheels on the Brumby and steelies on my old bullet; both almost exactly 14"...supposed to be 13"

If that is the case then what exactly is the diameter of a 14 inch rim? 15"???

You have to measure to the inside of the lip on the inside of the rim - where the tyre seats on it - not the overall outside lip
