Kings wheels

Went to Tyre Power this arvo to start building "knowledge" on what is still available in the PCD 140 x 4 stud, 14" x 6" rims for MY's/L series/Brumbies.
The result is the best option (seems to be the only option) are rims from Kings Wheels that look like Sunnies.
They come in white, black, or silver ? (grey I think)
They are about $60 each but are about a 3 month (yes month) wait.
They are a 14 positive offset.
What does this mean (in simple terms please)

Hi Cliff maaxis tyres make a 14in.light truck with the 751 thread pattern only one iknown off.I have them on my liberty waggon Kema.

I have those king wheels on my Brumby. The offset on standard MY is zero I think. Positive means they stick out away from the hub. I have 185 65r14 tyres fitted to mine & the tyre sits about an inch outside the guard lip at the front. The back is level with the guard lip. If you were being picky they are unroadworthy. Still they look good I think.

I have a set of 14" Steel rims look just like those above, and at $60 new like what you're saying, that's not a bad price. If you're keen on some a bit faster look at my add in the sale price.
On them I have Pirellis fitted on all but the spare. Great tyres.

Just to clarify, what sizes tyres are on the rims ?

Thanks for the info too everyone.
I will be contacting my engineer to see what he would want to see to allow for engineering approval for wider rims (flares probably) bigger diameter rims and tyres (speedo box corrector) and I need to sort out what diameter of tyres could be run with still reasonable power and not rub on the guards when turning (front) or when going over bumps (rear) allowing for the 2" Scorpion lift kit which is already fitted.

Subaru wheels have a +55mm offset, which means the hub mounting surface is 55mm from the centre of the rim. If you put a +14mm offset wheel that is half an inch wider, it will make the outside of your wheel sit 47mm out further than the factory wheel. It also gives you 35mm more clearance on the inside between the wheel and body

Hub mating surface is 55mm outwards from centre of rim

They would probably be positive offset wheels meaning the hub mounting face is 55mm outwards of the rims center line .
If you look at an OE aluminium wheel they generally have the offset marked or cast somewhere on the inner face or maybe the hub itself . If it says 55P it means 55mm Positive offset .
Be carefull changing this from std because the further outward the offset is from std the more it loads up the outer wheel bearings balljoints etc . Steering gets heavier and bump steer worse .
