Offset ...
Thanks henpecked,
Re PM : Yep it was my intent to add the offsets to as many of the wheels on the list as I can, however I ran out of time / info for this edition, so it will have to wait until the next ( 3rd ) edition ...
If anyone does know of an offset info on any of the wheels in the list, be sure to post them here & I will attempt to add them to the guide later ...
Keep finding 'em wheels too ! ...
Regards, Bantum ...

I think that some of the aftermarket wheels actually have different offsets within the same design. The speedy desert rats come to mind - some seem to have MY/brumby offset, some have the L offset.Bantum wrote:Thanks henpecked,

Also as per the option sheet posted on this forum, it appears that here in Oz the 2 official optional factory 13" wheels offered for the MY/Brumby , ie standard pressed steel, optional sunraysia style steel rims and the optional alloy Mags actually had slightly different offsets even thought they were for the same vehicle.
I've also seen a variance in offset with some of the different sets apparently identical aftermarket JDM wheels on the yahoo japan site .
Accordingly I thought listing the standard Pug/subaru offset for particular models may be helpful. It certainly took me some time to find the L and MY factory offset figures.

Offset information would be a big bonus, if it is available. The 2 different 13" MY wheels that henpecked is talking about had an offset of +43 and +45 right? Just looking at wheels online this seems a very high number, most wheels not even available above +35 or so. Okay so stay with me here; Would it be right to say a +35 offset wheel on an MY would reduce the track width compared to a +45? bringing the wheels further inside the arches and possibly rubbing on brakes/stuff inside the wheel arch?
Will it ever end!?

I believe that the MY had 3 factory wheels in OZSilverbullet wrote:Offset information would be a big bonus, if it is available. pressed steel at +42 and 4.5" wide
and the sunraysia and alloy sets both at +45 with 5" width
the two optional wider rims with greater positive offset essentially decreases the track (centre of tyres) by 6mm but only increases the track overall width ( outside of tyres) by only 6mm instead of the 12.5mm that a 0.5" increase in rim widths would have done if the offset had remained the same.
excessive hair splitting here - but if your having an argument in a pit inspection it may be usefull data.

Looking for one more 13x5.5 deep dish Sunraysia Like this so I have a complete set of 4, I found one today at a wreckers to make 3. Found another at another wreckers but it was 13x5 and different offset. The search continues.
.
The wrecking yard where I got the matching deep dish got it off an 84 touring wagon.
I currently have 3 different types of 13" Sunraysias. If I post them on FB can you put them here Bantum?

Will do, just remembered the set on the Gen 1 Brumby is different again, so I have 5 different types.

Those rims are from a Subaru Justy, certainly not a PCD of 140:Bantum wrote:Found this weird one I've not seen before :
