I have 4x14" rims exactly the same as in the lower pic, red and green pin stripes around the rim. Pulled them off a wreck so don't know what they are either. I think the stripes identify the make.

B : 14x6" Speedy Desert Rats

A : Could be 14x6" Jackmans ... ( to confirm will need to look close up for brand on spoke )

More likely Sunrays ... :p

Cheers, Bantum ...

thanks for that Bantum _ really appreciate a clear reply to a very ignorant question ! Jackmans !!???

just searched and according to an Ebay auction these are 13" sunraysias ! Big difference in design to the Jackmans I thought were sunnys !! I'll double check tomorrow in the daylight for a makers mark.

I wouls say set "A" are Jackmans going by Indys or they could be Sunrays

ans set "B" are Speedy Desert Rats

Set "A" Would have a better offset than set "B"

As well set "A" are way rarer than st "B"

To me "set A" look smaller diameter than "set B", very similar to the 13" wheels that were on my ute when I got it. Different to the wheels in that Ebay link looking at how the spokes are attached to the rim.

There's alot of different white spoked wheels out there for these things it seems

Going by the weld visible on each spoke seen from the front - yike! Looks like "A" could be a custom job. "B" looks like Sunnys or Speedy. The next pic down is surely Subaru Sports rims from MY series, better call it set "C"

Confused ...

Post by Bantum » Thu May 22, 2014 11:45 am

Going by the list that I have on here : List of 4x140 PCD wheels

the third example shown ( example C ) is a Second gen 13x5" wagon wheel by Subaru ... ;)

Would need a closer inspection of example A to determine its make .

Cheers, Bantum ...

I've been informed by sublime that example 'A' could be a 14x5" 'Peco Star' ... :)

Hope that helps ... got any close up pics / identifying marks ?

Cheers, Bantum ...
