GDay,
Evil thoughts have are crossing my mind once again, what would it take to some 30" BFG'S under the outback? mods required? performance and handling with them on there? anything else worth mentioning?

Thanks,
Jordan

dont do it - your just buying yourself problems.

Fit a set of 27's or 28's if you want to lift it, your NA motor will appreciate it, especially since you live up in the ranges.

brett and dave are both running 29.5" (235/75R15) tyres now (on a Gen2 and Gen1 respectively) but they have both done alot of f'n big hammer work to get them on there, and cant turn full lock because the tyres hit the chassis rails. They both have turbo engines to spin them too...

Why do you want to go so big? Is there any real reason for it or is it jsut a "my tyres are bigger than yours" thing?

Was just thinking 28's might not be enough as the only give 1" of extra clearance over the stock tyres.

They would not be on there all the time, only when I want to go offroad.

I don't want to do anything that involves a hammer, was thinking more like suspension lift or something.
