OK, well finally i have my new touring with a 3" lift.
So its time to say goodbye to my light truck tyres and get me a set of Nankangs.

Can anyone tell me the best place to get these from in Perth? as i don't want to get riped off.

The model I'm after i believe is Nankang Super Trippers ( 27x8.5 R14 ) ?

Cheers

Bob Jane Tmart in Claremont.

I got mine for $120 each. They are a very good bunch of blokes down there and they will fit them and balance for a good price aswell.

But ring around still and see what you can find.

-4MUFF-, good luck if you can get them where there is stock being calimed to be held. Get the tyre distributor to check with the state importer, and believe it or not it is K-Mart!! for Nankangs to my surprise.

October a year ago I ordered the first set of 27x8.5x14's in the state. It took 3 months for the shipment to arrive due to the batching run overseas.
Cost me $129ea at the time, ordered locally in Rockingham.
Well worth the wait however!!

If they are reporting that it will take months for items to get here then its CRAP and i think that WA has just gotten used to this poor excuse 8O
Subanator i know that your took a while however i made a few call eariler this year and if you put some preasure on em you can get em sooner... how do i know this... i contacted some people in Qld (seller of Nankangs) and even though they did not have a supplier here that informed me that they could get me 5 tyers in Perth in 2weeks max - depending on when i ordered @ $115 each and NO freighting cost added.

This ias just FYI... Sorry i am off my soap box now

Hey Jaffa, got it in one there - WA is Wait Awhile you know!
I was given the explanation of 1x month or the later of 3x months, turned out to be the later - it was out of my hands by then as I would have lost my deposit.

It did occur to me afterwards it would have been quicker and easier to get a set freighted across Australia!

There is no Australian distributor for Nankang tyres, they are separately franchised within all states, as they wouldnt get a set freighted over for me.

subanator it was not a specific shot at you - actually you had your aaaaaaaaaages ago. Just cause we a few hours behiend does not mean that we are all slow 8O  bwahhhhar

I was just saying that just cause we in WA does not mean that we should be getting screwed (although we regularly do).
