I have often found that two tyres stating the same size are different from each other in heights, therefore rolling diameter. yeah , go figure that one out !! So if you decide on a tyre size based on someones experience in here, get 'em to state brand and model of tyre so you can match up properly.

I have 185/75/14s on my unlifted subaru. They are the bob jane positraction road biased tyre. They have lifted the car a total height of. 48mm( measured before and after fitting with a tape measure)They do scrubb sometimes on bad offroad situations. My calculations usingthis type of tyre would suggest that 195/70s would scrub evem more being 10mm wider and only 2mm difference in rolling diamater I am looking at 185/70/14s next time round
Yep the 195 Positractions is what I had before the 27"s and the lift, and scrub in turns and big hits. That was on the MY. 185 size tyres on my L dont scrub (not lifted yet).twc wrote:I have 185/75/14s on my unlifted subaru. They are the bob jane positraction road biased tyre.
