!5x6" alloys
!5x6" alloys
Looking at purchasing 15x6" alloy superlites for my brumby.
Planning on lifting it 2 inches but will not be upgrading my engine so she will be a stocko EA81
Can anyone point me in the right direction for which tyre size i should choose?
What is the max size i can go without rubbing on anything? Would like to start using it offroad was thinking a 205/65R15 but would not be sure if this would fit/rub???

I used to run 205/65R15's on my old GLF coupe, standard height with no guard trimming. If I hit a bump with the wheels turned the tyres would touch, but apart from that it was great.
With a 2" lift it should be quite easy to fit this tyre size, but I found that the stiffness of the springs mattered more than any other factor.
They will easily fit on the rear.

I got 15 x 6 on my new Brumby, 195/50 15's. not lifted, they work out much the same as a decent 14 inch or 13
as far as rego goes in NSW they do not have regulations or rules stipulating the rim diameter, contrary to popular belief among police and inspectors, it is rolling diameter and clearance that should concern them. the rules only really state rim width and offset as far as sizes go.
JAX quikfit sell a cheapy tyre this size for 95 bucks. I know this because previous owner hit a pot hole, chomping on tyre that just went down months later just sitting there - now leaks out sidewall chomp.

I know a guy with 3 gold superlites he'd sell at a good price. if you want I can pass on his number. That way you could get just a single new one and have a full set of 4. They didn't look in too bad condition when I saw them.

YES !! I finally got around to getting the 15 x 6 Superlites off the new Brumby and onto my old RED 84 Brumby. One jack and one stand, it took an hour!
these have 195 50 15 roadstones from jaxqikfit and needed a newie - best price was 81 bucks fitted and balanced. !!
they are a smaller lower set up than my 185 70 14's, yet wider and now does she handle the roads or what !
Silver on Red ute, nice combo if i don't say so myself

Hey bob jane priced the superlites at $195 each for the superlites and said maxis had an aggressive tread pattern in a 195/65R15? Was unsure what brand tyre go anyone else have other brand/model suggestions. Will a 195/65 be enough to use off-road or is this too small a profile??? Is it a good starting point for now and see what i need?
Anyone running superlites kno what this machine finish means? Tyre bloke was going on bout it but did not understand anything. Oh and what finishes ppl have gone for cause there is this platinum one and a platinum(painted all over) one. I wanted an alloy/chrome look
