Wow brumby boy, at 28.6 inch diametre it'd be a tight fit would it?

I guess a brumby you can cut the guards as much as brumbyrunner has if you really needed too.

Stamplicker, how would you fit these to an L - eg what size lift would work best and how much guard trimming would be needed?

Cheers

At a guess you would need 4" at the least.

 27" tyres are tight under an L. To get these Federal's under, you'd need to trim the guards quite radically.

What offset rims are you looking at using on the Brumby? I've got Scorpion rims with 27" Nankangs and get slight rubbing at full lock on the chassis rail with this set up.

Im planning on running them on new forrester 16" rims using a 2" lift plus forester struts, i belive you can fit 29's under forester struts before going to coil overs is something im looking at as well

i was quoted appox $160ea fitted and ballanced etc which i thought was very reasonable

I know of some owners who are running 215/70R16 tyres on their Foresters and they tell me that this size just clears the standard strut.
