Post by seagull » Sat Dec 17, 2005 1:32 am

I am a bit lost as what rim size to run on my liberty 4x4 I am fitting a legacy turbo motor & auto , with 444 diff . Can some one please advise me the best rim & tyre combo .

I am fitting a 75mm body lift kit .

I can get hold of some audi rims there 15" not sure on how wide they are .

why are you looking at audi rims? Be careful with offset - you want something wider than the standard +55 offset. I run +48 forester rims and they are great, a few people are running aftermarket rims that are even wider (+40ish)

28" is generally the largest size you fit on a liberty without aking to it with an angle ginder (brett, dave...) thats 215/70R16 or 215/75R15
. A 28 will rub on the chassis rails on the front at full lock though, but its not really a problem.

Personally i run 205/75R15's on +48mm rims they dont rub anywhere at all.

these are 28"
