I recently replaced the airbag suspension on my '92 liberty with 'normal' suspension, which is working quite nicely.
My next step is to put some nice alloys on the car - preferably Subaru ones of course. I have seen 15-inch and 16-inch alloys for sale around the traps, and wonder if there are any issues with installing wheels of this size - eg will I need suspension spacers to stop rubbing, etc..
any advice most welcome - I'm sure lots of members have done this before..
16" WRX wheels on '92 liberty wagon
Just buy it like you were buying it for a WRX or and Impreza. I think its a 215/40/17 or something from memory but that's just off the top of my head.
The wheels look nice and they don't compromise on ride or handling very much at all. You notice how all new luxury cars are coming out with 19s and 20s?
In the 21st century, a 40 profile tire doesn't mean a ride like a Daihatsu Rocky.
