My Subaru rallycross car

Post by Gudni F » Mon Feb 08, 2010 11:34 am

Hey there!

I'm bored so I decided to make a thread about my Subaru GL coupe that I builded as a rallycross car last summar, with a lot of help from my best friends. Last season I drove with the original EA82 engine and results from the summer are 3rd place in the Cup competition but 4th in the Championship. I've got some pics from the building of the cage and some other things. The plan for the 2010 rallycross season is to put an EJ20 in it and hopefully do some better progress. :) Btw can someone tell me one thing that I'm not sure about.. does the EJ20 fit on my motor subframe(english not so good) without any changes?

Here are some pictures of the car just when I bought it.

Your english is just as good - no problems...
There has been a few threads about EJ conversions in L series (you can even fit EJ25 & EG27 in it)... It will fit...
Cheers

My coupe has now got an EJ20 engine

Did the swap on 2-3 days but there are little things to do yet, make the wipers work and the brake lights. But that shouldn't be a problem.

Some pics of the swap....
