Post by 87rxturbo » Sat Mar 05, 2011 12:15 am

A set of BBS 15 inch wheels,195/50 tyres, upping the boost/adjustable and adding an intercooler, nothing too complicated, just maintaining as much originality in the car and the ability to turn it back to stock as easilly as possible.I like the sleeper look, innocent but deadly when it needs to be..keeps the boys in blue happy too!

What year were these photos taken??? :p

Looks very nice. It would be the ultimate sleeper with a WRX conversion hiding under the bonnet - quiet exhaust to cap it off. "Predator posing as a house pet" ;)

How many k's on the clock?

Hope you keep it looking as shmick as it is in these pics!

Cheers

update

Post by 87rxturbo » Fri Aug 26, 2011 5:49 pm

Been awhile since i posted anything up on the RX,as things haven't been happening that quickly.A few times i've been tempted to sell it,as i have way too many projects on the go considering my questionable/low income...Anyone want a NF fairlane twin turbo tickford 6 sleeper for cheap?
Does need 2 air filters, fuel reg and oil feed line tapped into sump. Was running before on EB 10 psi, stock computer, awesome headslamming torque! consider swap for WRX front cut with the right gearbox (wanting revs!). Wanting to transplant into my 87rx for maximum take off ability (wheelie bars needed ) fun.Can be stock, will add my bolt_ons as we go.Touring wagon willl gain the removed items from the rx ie. slip diff , 4 wheel disks, fat sway bars, hard n tight suspension. What are peoples thoughts on this? : rx stripped n gutted ,ej20T?g? BIIIIIIG turbo! Aftermarket ecu (stinger?haltech etc..) rear wheel drive conversion, either PPG subie rear wheel drive front diff replacement centre,or possible hilux?9 inch high 4's low 5's diff, shortened axles,8-10 inch wheels,50 series stretched 225's for the street,10 inch slicks for drags, centre, weld 'magnum' drag wheels 15x10 on the rear ,3.5 or 4.5 on the front, coil over on the front from wrx,wrx front brakes, interior remove (factory seats, door trims, dash) all interior to go to touring wagon, nothing wasted, all recycled to wagon to become a rx turbo wagon clone.Looking for 10 second quarters on the rx or going home....

I am a fan of your RX, but please, use grammar.

10's is fast. Really fast. there is more than power to 10's.
You will really need to sort suspension correctly and adding and old coilovers
does not cut it.

sell the ford, build the RX :D

and go a flat six if u want to make big power.

Have to state the obvious.

i want BIG POWER!, im greedy ! More is not enough. I don't care if it is streetable,it's not for 4 wheeldriving! That will be the wagons duty. This is strictly for the quarter.

depends how far u want to go mate.
ez36 with dual AVCS is your best bet but by far the most expensive.

EG33 from an SVX is the cheapest be and should be easies to source.

and yes, big, big power potential but u rebuild with adequate internals
for big boost is the best way to go.

but all of this is expensive! and u really need to recognise from the start
that u will not get your money back. unless u DO run 10's and sell on the
day/night and then u may get close to it
