they're 18's. i think they add a lot to the JDM look and feel of the car.
I wanted something that didn't attract too much attention, whilst looking modern and good. i had chrome wheels on my previous cars, and really, they're a royal pain. dirt, brake dust and the like are all visible on the wheels, and if you really want them to present well, you'd have to sit there polishing them every half hour!
im also contemplating in buying another set of 16's or 17's, for trackwork, or even some very very mild offroading.... but that's later. these things cost me $1800 fitted, with balancing and four wheel alignment.
sure does drive nicer now.

Brett: I sold them. Quick smart. Three tyres were shot, one was Like new. The wheel with the new tyre had some new piece patched (welded? brazed?) into the wheel, like it was a repair from where it looked like it had split. Sold them within a month or so when I bought the car, around August last year. Car vibrated like hell 80km/h-120km/h. Had to get rid of them.BYB-01 wrote:Alex, what ever happened to your 18" wheels? The first set you had?
Muff: The new rims I had got from a friend of a friend who works at subaru parts. Difference in driving is phenomenal. Feels lighter than my old black wheels. The new wheels weigh at 8kg each. I had them painted. New tyres are pretty good, too.'[4MUFF wrote:]love those rims hey, sets the car right off now..

Smoov - This one might go cheapish. Nice n straight lookin, not a tourer but not so hard to put power windows in. Engine is prob getting worn but a EJ20 would be a nice replacementsmoov wrote:I'll be in the hunt for another L soon. I miss my old one too much!
