Touring Wagon

Post by 1986touringwagon » Mon Mar 26, 2007 10:20 pm

Hey its my first time with a subaru
i have a 1999 nissan pulsar but love driving my old suby more so!

i just last week i picked up a 1986 Touring Wagon with 220.000kms,
bull bar ,roof racks and no rust what so ever new tyres and 6 months rego for $1500 bucks

the interior is clean as a whistle every electric part works

it needs a clutch soon but ive been told that thats not a big deal

it has a slight oil leak looks like it is coming from the rockercovers and cam seals but it dosent drip just looks fresh underneath....

i think the syncro in second may be a little worn but in no way affects driving of it......

i recon when i get a new clutch in i will fix the seals and gaskets..

the motor was running well it had a fule surge in it tho

after a heafty dose of carby cleaner it goes twice as good now and im really happy with it

its got no noises from the cv joints or lifter tick at all or the subaru whine

sorry about the long read

photos are coming just need to figure out how lol..............

cheers...

Andrew
