How it started:
I scored this sherpa for free with a spare motor and gearbox, it's got a little rust, the paint and interior are a bit rough but all in all it's pretty good, especially for free

Stock specs:
Engine: EK42 2 cylinder 660cc SOHC carb
G'box: 4 speed manual
Weight: 560Kg Tare
Brakes: Front Discs, Rear Drums
Seats: 2 with aftermarket rear seat available...if your lucky.
Some Pictures
This is what it looked like when I got it:
Then gave it a wash, while it was wet it looked really good but once it dried it went back to how it was:

And just in case anyone was wondering:

The Plans
If all goes to plan It's going to be a crazy little car.
I want to use a super charged EN07 engine from a Subaru Vivio/Pleo/R2 which have a stock output of a very restricted 47Kw and about 54Nm.
They're a 16 valve DOHC MPFI 4 cylinder 660cc inline 4 and if you get the right one they come with a 6 speed gearbox

I'd like to remove all restrictions, add a free flowing exhaust, RS water to air intercooler, water/methanol injection, replace the belt driven water pump with an electric pump, and hopefully run around 10psi from the supercharger even if that means upgrading from the standard AMR300 and possibly cam reprofiling.
If/when the engine requires a rebuild I will consider overboring, o-ringing, etc.
The goal is around 100Kw, to get this to the ground I'd like to upgrade from the stuck 135/70R12 cheese cutters to something like around the 200mm wide mark, but it's really hard to find a low profile 13" tyre, the only thing I've found so far that I'm happy with is a goodyear race series tyre for GT and production cars, it's 20/9.5-13 which works out to about 235/40R13 and requires a 13x7" rim. Legality for road use may be questionable though.
A quick/rough measurement said the PCD is 4x100 which means theres a plethora of aftermarket rims available.
Obviously the stock brakes and suspension will need some attention, I haven't got as far as this yet.
This is a long term project, still lots of stuff to work out, it won't even have any time or money spent on it till the EJ project is finished.
And of course there'll be plenty of conversations with engineers before I even get started.
As always open to suggestions, but if you're just going to say don't bother/why/it's not worth it I couldn't give a rats :P ....keep it constructive fellas.
Jordan.
