I will have to think about something else a little harder to spot.
Bar respray? Maybe I'll re-spray the washer covers...

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

You could do a reasonable job with a spray can or 2....

Well,
Since I had the bar out yesterday, I've done a couple other outstanding jobs as well: cleaned out the horns as they were full of sand from Wyperfeld and sounding a bit like a tuk tuk in Bali.
And also aligned the bar a little better than the first time around. You may remember that when I first fitted it, I wasn't 100% happy witht he alignment. Well, I can tell you now that I am 100% happy with it. Here's another photo from yesterday:

So this means it ain't coming out any time soon for a re-spray...
Curious note on the 2 horns, they are located just behind the fog lights. The RHS one is 500Hz tune, while the LHS is 400Hz.
Cheers,
Pedro.

Looks terrific Pedro and I'm sure you'll have it off another time. Now that it all fits up nicely, it would be hard to remove again.. but if you did it once... well

So, it's been a while since I posted an update, here we go:
We were out at the Wombat Forest last weekend and found a bit of mud:

While going up a bumpy hill, I landed on the bullbar:

Which moved upwards a little bit, and given I left very little gap to the fender, it ended up pushing into the fender and flaking a bit of the paint off:

Nothing major, but it meant I had to loosen the bar for realignment and to get the fender back in its place. After a bit of thought, I decided to bite the bullet and get it colour coded, I know some guys here will like the sound of that (I'm looking at you Nacha, El_Freddo and Dulagarl).
So off comes the bar and on goes the bumper for a few days:

Since the bar was off, I went on to fine tune the holes for the headlight washer to pop out, here's before:

And after a little elbow grease and a file:

Bullbar was loaded in the back of the car to take it to the paint shop (I'm lucky I now work next to a panel beaters):

And by lunch-time today it was already primed and drying out for the paint to go on:

Looks like I'll have a busy weekend!
Pedro.

Nice work Pedro and I think you'll be much happier to see it colour coded.
Will you be coming to SA in August?

Big day today!
Started by getting myself ready and washing the mud off everything I had dismantled before:

I even gave the fog lights a nice clean and polish:

As well as my headlights - again!

Moving on to the bullbar install, my mate Will came over to lend a helping hand. We removed the bumper skin and spent some time adjusting the brackets that moved when I hit the ground at Wombat Forest. I had to lift everything back up to ensure the headlight washer was aligned nicely:

With that all done, we turned our attention to the bar itself. This was just before I reinstalled the fog lights:

The rest of the install was pretty standard. Being this the third time that I install this bar on the car, I already got the hang of aligning it. Now, for the final results:
