Hello everyone ive finally got a decent internet conection so here is my brumby .

It's been on the road for a few years now so it needs more work, the frount track is narrower than the rear but want to get some longer l series arms this should also give me more camber adjustment also. Rear suspension also needs some work riser plates I made are starting to twist under hard cornering when i originally did it i knew this would be a problem but the fueltank was obstructing any hope of cross bracing. will now probably relocate tank into tray this will enable me to fix properly.

Also would like to Thank everone on this forum. without it I probably would never started this project in the first place. Even back when i first got the idea in my head there was enough info on the site to let me know it could be done and was being done.:-D

Hard cover moulded straight from car, the pic's were taken today i have recently taken it off and ripped off the vinal cover, in the next few weeks i will hopefully get time to tidy it up and spray paint it, needs to be a glass smooth finish to get the mould to release properly the might be able to sell a few make some cash to spend on more mods.

The bits and pieces are.
engine and driveline are from 93 wrx half cut.
frount suspension consists of wrx hubs liberity struts with adjustable coilover sleeves strut tops are noltec wrx (redrilled wholes in tower)
lower arms were reamed out to suit wrx ball joint.
Rear diff assembly was with the half complete disc to disk, originally was going to just put the center in but thaught it would handle lots better with the whole thing so i layed underneath it for a few days thinking about how to accomplish it. then thought stuff it and started cutting and welding.

I wish I had that sorta courage and confidence in my ability to finish the project without screwing the body completely.

Nice work :D

Cheers

Great looking Brumby mate,
I like the rims as well, I have my road tyres fitted to them as well.
How long ago had you finished the main mods, until now when you've put the car up?

Thanks . Its been registed for three and a half years now needs a bit of panel beating. bodywork was rushed in the end had to get it out of the olds shed before they sold the house. but was never going to be a perfect paint job wanted something that i could drive on dirt and have some fun in.
