Here is my GT Forester 01 (ej20 turbo). Just installed 2 inch lift kit, heavy duty rear king springs and SubaXtreme sump guard. No other mods as yet. I intend to keep this car legal and insurable. (Im not sure if thats a word)

Awesome, looking good. Got some great lift out of the rear there.

It's funny even with less lift it has a lot more clearance than the hatch and the wheels are actually the same size if not bigger than the hatches from standard... if i go bigger tires i can only go maybe 2cm bigger or the tires will hit the spring seats on the struts.

looks good mate... for fozzies i agree they do look better and tougher when they're lifted, it gives me the creeps and cringe on lowered fozzies... (I must admit - it looks ugly lowered)

Looks great :-D
As a response of opinion I don't think lowered fozzies looks bad, BUT I would never ever lower my foz for a couple of reasons that is.
1: The roads where I live sucks. I would ruin the foz by driving it.
2: We do get some snow in the winter. A lowered foz don't do so well there.
And as a last opinion if none of these was in the way, why buy a forester...
So in that way I do agree with you ;)
