Mrs Obvious (bec) new car

Post by Captain Obvious » Sun May 24, 2009 4:19 pm

Well after having Bec's deawoo forsale for about 6 months it finally sold 2 weeks ago!!! so the hunt was on for a subi for her, i was looking for a forrester but most were to dear or had to many k's on them, or a Gen3 RX sedan and this one popped up on carsales, Gen3 2.5 RX Manual 181xxxkm was advertised for $9990 but eneded up getting it for $9000 with new brake pads all round!

just need to touch up the paint on the back bar, a bat crapped on it and took the paint off, and replace the shifter linkage bushed as the are well gone!! Ohhh and also make the Exhaust quieter cause at the moment with the cannon on the back it is very droney!!!

anyway heres some pics!

I agree... I haven't found one yet, I've came close but not yet (the last "good looking" had bad service history and engine didnt look good)... but at this moment she has a car but belongs her mother. i will find one someday soon - I'm taking my time!

That looks awesome. I bet she doesn't miss the daewoowoowoo one little bit!
Nice buy. I'm looking for the same (under $10k and 200,000km) in a wagon for my daughter's boyfriend.

That sounds like a steal!

Bat crap took off the paint?! That sounds a bit savage!!

So what's first, a supercharger kit or a lift and a dual range box??? :p

Good buy - many happy kms driving it, I reckon.
