I spotted that as well - they seem to be available everywhere except Oz!! If that box is going into the subi that's to be lifted I'd be looking at coverting it to dual range and run with the standard L series low range as its much better than the turbo "low range"...

Good luck with the build ;)

Looks good mate, nice to see you making the most of free stuff :)

It's amazing what the australian market missed out... Was aus not the market for subaru that it is now?

What are you plans for wheels and tires kralle?
The Green Machine is up for sale :(. Lifted, bars, exhausts... View Gumtree ad

i thought about a 6stud conversion but i would get problems with the police.
my only way to get bigger tires are 14" rims, but they are very rare here.

Back in the day Subaru was imported into Australia by an importer, not Subaru Subaru, think they called themselves Subaru Australia P/L. So it was like picking out a few things in the catalogue and making just those options available to us Aussies. It has been a bit like that with any Diesel powered car until recently too - we didn't get them here to be a choice.

Hey Kralle,
Do you have peugeots kicking around over there? Some models have the same 4 stud pattern in 14 and 15" rims.

it's a garett GT3071R,
yeah, i hope it will be fast and little, but for me and the engine i think 150hp should be enough because i'm only 17 years old and a drivingbeginner :)

yesterday i bought a racing air filter and a holder for the additional-gauges

The importers were LNC industries in Melbourne i think. They became Subaru Australia much later. The local distributor in queensland was Annand Thompson in Brisbane where my father worked. They also did VW,Renault,Peugeot,Fiat and even Rambler at one stage.
