the biggest advantage these pulleys have, is that I can now fit a 10" thermo fan on the engine side of the radiator.

This is due to the undersized diametre of the pulley correct?

And is the alternator pulley undersized as well so it's still spinning as quick as it needs to be?

Have you noticed a performance gain?

Cheers

Yes slowly but surely ... I need access to welding equipment to fabricate intake parts and supercharger flanges ... and about a week of free time to do this correctly... this is before we even mock up the supercharger mounted on the engine.

No noticable performance gain, (she is too damn fast anyway:) ) the alternator pulley is undersize to match the undersize crank pulley, and because the crank pulley is about half the size of a standard pulley, there is more room at the front right side of the radiator under the PS pulley.

So today I found my vortex shockies in the shed they didn't work on the vortex as a coil has been cut from them making them too short.

Image

They fit just fine on the brumby and with the torsion bar backed off they make for a nice ride.

The back sits the same as it did before but will now take a bit more weight :)

Image

Which comes in handy when I have to cart wood around :)

Jules, you need to put some sort of protection around that solid brake line or make it fixed outside of the clamping/locating tab before you go too much further.

Speaking of going further.. where is your thread for a AUSubaru day trip to that Bob’s hill trip?
I found this online which was interesting :)

Ok, I've just looked through 50 billion personal posts that either don't relate to the subject at hand or are just digs at different members trying to find the post where TOONGA switched back to the 34ADM as suggested in this post http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/top ... ?p=1186380

Any idea where it is in this mess? lol

Did you read the first post by chance :) ?

everything (99%) done to PJ is in the first post

showthread.php?t=15851

from the post/page below I have been running the 34ADM and in between the 32/36 as well

showthread.php?t=15851&page=24

as for the
50 billion personal posts that either don't relate to the subject at hand or are just digs at different members
Pffffffft everyboday has had a dig at everybody :)

I may yet go back to the 32/36 with a 140 main and a 150 secondary just to see if I get a little more economy and near the same power as the 34ADM

I don't care who has a dig at , it just made it near impossible for someone with time restraints to read through finding the posts about the car.

I did read the first post, but after it says you're running the 34 it says "weber 32/36 to replace ADM34" and no mention of going back that I could see. It was only when I read my thread on usmb again that I realised you were back to the 34, and also that you posted your jetting there...

I'm getting my BIL to cut me out some steel in the shape of the gaskets soon, buying a steel donut and soon to build this manifold.

I hope we get to see a build of your engine, including the making of the manifold.

So with a little bit of free time I put new front guards on the brumby (thanks Jason :) )

before

after

Image

As well I bought an 84 degree celsius thermostat, so my engine runs a bit warmer for winter. there was nothing wrong with the 78 degree one that was in there ... or was there ?

When you replace the inlet and outlet pipes for the EJ22 conversion ensure the excess solder is out of the radiator.

So do I...

I do believe the thermostat stopped it from being sucked into the water pump, which means the water pump is working well.
