Thanks Dave its only a matter of time and a bit more money and it will happen
head gaskets and a carby kit for the holley are paid for and coming , need to save some money for a clutch kit, a liberty 5 speed AWD box, a tail shaft and some other bits and then put it all together

it is sitting quite tall with the little air cleaner on it
I think it will be a case of either modifying the original subaru air cleaner or building an air box to some type of pod
I can't wait to see it drown the engine
Franken-manifold! Love it!!! Can't wait to see this thing up and running!
I know I'm EFI converted, but if you know what you're doing and how to get there, go for it
Can't wait to see the end result!
Cheers

head gaskets are here but no sign of the carby kit
Im curious how a kit from England gets here before one in Australia
and sadly wifey and baby girl are both rather sick so I won't be able to get up this week end as Ive got to look after everyone

No probs buddy.. Family first
Yes it's strange how freight from the other side of the world can get here faster than within Aus?? I remember my Mum always saying that when mail was transported via camels East to West (or vise versa) they would guarantee it would be delivered within 7 days.. Australia Post today is still unable to give you that guarantee unless you pay extra

maybe they should go back to camels they are a damn sight more reliable than trucks
and it looks like next week end might be off for me as well as wifey has made plans for me to catch up with an old friend of mine from Germany

But trully all good for next weekend. I was only looking at doing something if you didn't get your carby kit.. which by the way arrived on the very same day as you were going to call them and abuse them
